Do Viewpoint residents have access to shopping? The Viewpoint is located in north Prescott Valley in an area locals refer to as "the backside". This is not a derogatory term by any means; simply just a term locals use differentiate from the industrious "front side" of PV. The backside of PV is the quieter and less busy side of the valley. Shopping and restaurants are a 4-5 mile drive up Glassford hill road, with the exception of Robert's Market, Maya's Mexican Food, and Toi's Thai Cuisine. All three are considered top-notch restaurants for their authenticity and carry a heavy local-vibe. Try Maya's on Thursdays and Saturdays for their "Road-Side Chicken", YUM!
