The pool is heated to 84 degrees and the spa is 102 degrees...almost what it's like to be in Phoenix and step out of the car! Just another reason why people are moving from Phoenix to Prescott each year.

What kind of people live in Yavapai Hills? The majority of homes built in Yavapai Hills were constructed during the 1970's and early 1980's. As a result, a percentage of the community is retired persons giving the community a more harmonious demeanor. Recently, however, we have moved several younger families into the community who desire to raise their children in a more tranquil environment with access to forest and wildlife. All residents of Yavapai Hills love the convenience to Costco and the mall as well as Prescott Valley.
Speaking of wildlife, several creeks run almost year-round in Yavapai Hills resulting in an abundance of deer and javelina. Javelina are not members of the pig family, as many may suggest. Javelina are members of the peccary family akin to what one might see in South America. The animal is abundant in the region of Yavapai Hills and potential homeowners with pets should take note. Javelina are amazing pack animals to watch and study from a distance; they are playful, family oriented, and normally avoid humans, but should under no uncertain terms be fed or sheltered. Keep a careful eye in particular on your canine pets.
